The fundamentals of our safety program are based on an integrated program of HSQE.  HSQE is an industry standard acronym for Health, Safety, Quality and Environment whereby all applicable laws, regulations and standards are met.  Gradient Resources has taken a leadership position by making safety the cornerstone of our business practices as well as one of our core corporate values.  Our goal of zero accidents must exceed industry standards and achieve the highest level of social and corporate responsibility.

To fulfill our commitment, an HSQE Management System was created.  The management system starts by empowering all personnel- from the CEO and office staff to field workers, contractors, subs and even visitors- with responsibility for their own personal safety, the safety of those around them, the community in which they work and the environment as a whole.  Safety goals and best practices are clearly communicated throughout the company and ongoing training is provided to increase awareness and ensure that safety is a value.

Additionally Gradient Resources has instituted company-wide health and wellness programs.  We are committed to helping our employees  lead a healthy lifestyle.  We look for health care providers that provide proactive treatment plans such as smoking cessation programs, general immunizations, healthy pregnancy programs, biometric screenings and overall disease management programs.  Gradient also actively encourages a healthy lifestyle by providing discounted memberships in local fitness centers, and encouraging participation in various events and activities, such as riding a bike to work, that benefit both the employee and the environment.
