Darian has been leading seed investments in category-defining AI companies and working with AI-first founders his entire career. He is a self-taught software engineer and former founder of Radius, a B2B Customer Data Platform, which raised more than $100MM in venture capital and served dozens of Fortune 500 enterprise customers. Prior to being a founder and CEO for over seven years, Darian was one of the first software engineers at Facebook, reporting directly to Mark Zuckerberg. He studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of California at Berkeley before dropping out to work full time on startups. Darian was an early investor in and adviser to many well-known companies including Legora, Udemy, Palantir, Casetext, OpenGov, and more.
He lives in San Francisco with his wife, two kids, and two cats and enjoys skiing, kitesurfing, and Civilization VI.
